🎨 Mondays: Mini Makers (Ages 6–9)
Mondays are all about hands-on discovery for our younger artists. This playful and dynamic class encourages kids to explore a wide range of materials and techniques—from painting and collage to sculpture and mixed media. Each week is a chance to experiment, get a little messy, and develop creative thinking in a fun, supportive environment. Through interactive activities and guided projects, children will strengthen their learning and creative problem-solving skills - while having a blast!
✏️ Tuesdays: Creative Crew (10 - 12)
Tuesday's class is perfect for young artists aged 10–12 who are eager to build on their creative skills in a fun, supportive studio environment. Through drawing, design, and mixed media projects, students will explore techniques in pencil, ink, paint, collage, and more. The group will continue to evolve their skills week by week, while collaborating and sharing inspiration in a supportive, studio-style environment.
✏️ Wednesday: Studio Sessions for Teens (12+)
Wednesdays are designed for teens aged 12+ who want to take their art further. These sessions offer a more studio-like experience - ideal for developing personal style, refining technique, and working on more complex, independent projects. Term Schedule
Week 1: Introduction to Art
An exciting introduction to the world of art, where students will get familiar with the materials and space. We’ll explore drawing, painting, and clay through a fun mini project that brings all three mediums together!
Weeks 2-4: Drawing, Painting & Clay
These three weeks focus on mastering core artistic skills, with each term offering a unique twist:
- Drawing: From basic shapes to more advanced techniques, students will build their drawing skills.
- Painting: Learn to mix colors, use different brushes, and experiment with paint.
- Clay: Explore texture and form, creating hands-on projects. (Each term, clay projects change, so students will work with a new project each time—such as sculpting animals or making small pots.)
Week 5: Anime Week
A deep dive into the world of anime! Students will learn how to create their own anime characters and explore the art of storytelling through anime-style drawing.
Week 6: Live Drawing Week
This week, we focus on the fundamentals of figure drawing. Students will work on drawing key body parts like eyes, noses, ears, and hands to develop strong figure-drawing skills.
Week 7: Abstract Art Week
Abstract art opens up endless possibilities. Students will explore color, form, and texture to create their own abstract works using a variety of materials.
Week 8: Design Week
One of our most exciting weeks - students will tap into their creativity by designing something fun and functional, like a skateboard, book cover, or backpack. A great way to blend art with imagination and personal style!
Week 9: Free Choice Week
In the final week, students take charge of their own creative journey. They’ll select their own theme or medium, applying everything they’ve learned to create a unique final project.
