Join us on Wednesday mornings forĀ Little Picassosāa playful and nurturing art class designed especially for children aged 0 to 6and the parent. These 1.15-hour sessions are all about sensory discovery and joyful creativity, where children explore paint, collage, clay, and natural materials in a relaxed, safe and welcoming environment.
Whether your little one joins independently or with a parent/carer, the class is a wonderful space to build confidence, coordination, and a love of making. Itās also a lovely bonding opportunity for those who choose to stay and create together.
Each session offers personalised attention and a calm, creative flow that supports your childās development and imagination.

Term Schedule
Week 1: Introduction to Art
An exciting introduction to the world of art, where students will get familiar with the materials and space. Weāll explore drawing, painting, and clay through a fun mini project that brings all three mediums together!
Weeks 2-4: Drawing, Painting & Clay
Ā These three weeks focus on mastering core artistic skills, with each term offering a unique twist:
- Drawing:Ā From basic shapes to more advanced techniques, students will build their drawing skills.
- Painting:Ā Learn to mix colors, use different brushes, and experiment with paint.
- Clay:Ā Explore texture and form, creating hands-on projects. (Each term, clay projects change, so students will work with a new project each timeāsuch as sculpting animals or making small pots.)
Week 5: Anime Week
A deep dive into the world of anime! Students will learn how to create their own anime characters and explore the art of storytelling through anime-style drawing.
Week 6: Live Drawing Week
This week, we focus on the fundamentals of figure drawing. Students will work on drawing key body parts like eyes, noses, ears, and hands to develop strong figure-drawing skills.
Week 7: Abstract Art Week
Abstract art opens up endless possibilities. Students will explore color, form, and texture to create their own abstract works using a variety of materials.
Week 8: Design Week
One of our most exciting weeks - students will tap into their creativity by designing something fun and functional, like a skateboard, book cover, or backpack. A great way to blend art with imagination and personal style!
